The Writers' Guild of Great Britain have announced the shortlists for their 2007 Awards.
Doctor Who has been nominated in the Best Soap / Series (TV) category, where the following writers are acknowledged for the award nomination:
Chris Chibnall
Paul Cornell
Russell T. Davies
Stephen Greenhorn
Steven Moffat
Helen Raynor
Gareth Roberts
Other contenders in the category are New Tricks (Series 4) and Life on Mars (Series 2).
The winners will be revealed at a ceremony hosted by Jeremy Hardy on Sunday 18th November 2007.
